INDEPENDENT DRIVING
There will be a change to the structure of the practical driving test from 4th October 2010. An element of independent driving will be added to test the reality of having to follow road direction signs and verbal instruction to a destination. A further change will require driving test candidates to perform only one reversing manoeuvre rather than the two that were previously required.
